Another Little Christmas Survey


The Christmas Edition of the Nebshit game--

1. Do you have a favorite Christmas tradition?

I pretty much like the whole "process" of Christmas -- the shopping, the wrapping, the cookies, the cards, the tree, the decorating, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's even, all linked together in a 4-6 week long tradition, or set of traditions.

2. When do you open gifts - Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Both! Christmas Eve is at Grandma's, and we open her presents. Then, Christmas morning, we do the whole Santa thing at my folks.

3. What is your favorite Christmas cookie?

Mm. Cookies! Frosted sugar cookies, in festive shapes, of course. Though, snickerdoodles always remind me of the holidays, but I can only eat one before the Cinnamon Factor kicks in.

4. Real tree or fake?

Fake! We started out getting a fake tree when I was a kid because Baby Brother was allergic. Now, he's grown out of it, but it's just so much easier, cheaper and lower maintenance to have a fake tree.

5. Do you want something for Christmas that you know you will not get?

A house. A new computer. A 500% pay raise.

6. What’s the worst gift you ever got at Christmas time?

I don't remember specifics at this point, but I vaguely recall some sweatshirts that were, uh, questionable. I was in my early teens, which is probably one of the worst periods of life for trying to buy a gift that will be received well.

7. Do you write thank you cards for Christmas gifts?

Depends on who the gift's from.

8. Do you get a Christmas bonus at work?

This year was the first year ever that I got any sort of end-of-the-year bonus, and it was so very cool.

9. How old were you when you found out the truth regarding Santa Claus?

I don't remember, exactly. Nine? Ten? Somewhere around there.

10. Do you buy your boss a Christmas gift?

Not usually, though I have in the past.
