Make a Wish...
I know I've been doing a lot of entries where I jump around a lot, a thought here, a thought there. I call it brain fluff. Like, when you blow on a dandelion that's gone to seed and the fluff swirls all over the place, eventually settling on something and being re-enveloped. Or else, planting itself someplace where it eventually makes more fluff, and the cycle repeats.
Scattered as I've been lately, this is the best I've got. You want high-brow, watch public television.

You know there's really, really nothing on tv when you leave it on TV Land while it's playing "The Jeffersons". I'm just saying.

My daughter is well on her way to becoming a World-Class web surfer. She can manipulate a mouse, knows what buttons to click for forward and back, and can get around the Disney, Noggin and Teletubbies websites like nobody's business. I just sit in the computer chair, put her on my lap, pull up one of the aforementioned pages and let her do her thing. She loves the coloring/painting activities, and has better pointer precision than I ever will. She's two. I'd be embarrassed, except mostly I'm just impressed by her mad clicking skillz.
There's a game on the Noggin site that involves dressing a character from the cartoon "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!". (Link here if you'd like to go look.) Basically, you choose from a variety of pants, shirts, shoes, glasses and hats to get Walden, who starts out attired in a pair of tighty-whiteys, ready to go outside. Kidlet played this one over a few dozen times, with poor Walden usually looking like a reject from a thrift store. An example of an outfit would be:
*white football uniform pants
*an orange dress with flowers on it
*two-tone rust/pink colored platform shoes
*a purple king's hat with white fur trim
*round, electric blue Elton John glasses
But she really enjoys making this poor guy look like a fashion fool, so let's have at it!

And... that's all I've got for right now. It's getting late, and I'm way tired. Hopefully, you're on your way to sleep, too...
