Football Letters -- Playoff Edition
Dear Indianapolis Colts,
Congratulations! That was quite a comeback, and y'all really pulled it together. My cat isn't too pleased with you, what with me jumping around and screaming like a madwoman after that last pick, and waking him up from a sound sleep. But he'll get over it. And seeing my toddler charge around the room with her arms in the air, yelling, "More touchdowns!" was awesome.
Good luck February 4th!
Yours Truly,
SaturnCat
P.S. - I could do without a heart attack for the next game, so Peyton, just go on out and rack up 49 points or so right out of the chute, and just maintain that lead for the duration of the game. Okay? Okay. You're a beautiful boy and I'm proud of you.

Dear New England Patriots,
I'm sorry that you lost. Except, I'm not really.
Bye now.

Dear Football Goddess,
Right on, sister. And I promise that the extra case of beer that I owe you for this one will be on its way shortly. Keep it coming.
Blessings,
Saturn

So, yeah. Playoff weekend. Still no real opinion about the Bears/Saints game, though I'll admit that a tiny part of me was rooting for the Saints, more for the underdog thing than anything else. I have a few family members who are long-time Bears fans, but I've never really had any opinion either way. Well, except that 1) McMahon acted like a self-important tool, with his goofy headbands in the 80s 2) 'Refrigerator' Perry was big boy, especially back then and 3) Singletary was one scary-looking dude.
Overall, a good weekend of football all around. Next stop, The Big One. Let the field goals fall where they may.
